| Depot System 4.0 software was written specifically for container
depot and container yard (CY) operations to manage the tracking and daily reporting needs of their
in yard equipment. The software is currently running at 125 terminal locations,
handling thousands of containers daily, and performs
the functions of gate activity, lifting, reporting, and M&R
estimates. Depot System 4.0 generates all needed reports for
gate activity, yard status, estimates, bookings and complete
unit storage invoices. The system is also a complete M&R
invoicing and estimate system and utilizes the CEDEX EDI format
and other custom industry formats, allowing estimates to be sent
electronically to most steamship lines and leasing companies. Depot System 4.0 is also
capable of updating all invoicing
into your accounting system, and has direct links to
QuickBooks, Peachtree, Microsoft Dynamics, and other accounting packages. Depot System 4.0 is a depot management system that is very user friendly. Using menus and pick lists throughout the system allows for ease of use for anyone. All screens are designed to be easy to understand and operate. The software is a windows based system that can operate on any Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista PC. Depot System 4.0 is fully net workable on any Windows 2000/XP, or Windows 2003 Server. The software is fully supported on Windows 2000/2003 terminal servers and Citrix platforms. We also have add on support for hand held mobile units and a web reporting interface. Depot System 4.0 has built in EDI for 322 (gate), 301(Booking), 310, 315, 650, 810, CODECO, and CEDEX formats. Depot Systems can replace Sterling Commerce software. There is never any data re-entry for the EDI and most EDI data is sent via direct FTP to provide low-cost EDI for most steamship lines and leasing companies. As a former depot operator in Cleveland Ohio, I wrote this system for my own depot. Having worked in the business for 15 years, I am very familiar with the shipping and intermodal industries. Depot System 4.0 is a very strong database product capable of handling any container yards needs for customer satisfaction and ease of use by their personnel.
